The passing of Mark Thompson

The Nevada Landscape Association is devastated to have to inform you of the passing of our  president and dear friend, Mark Thompson. Mark and his beloved wife Janene were involved in a car accident near Chilicoot, California on Tuesday that took their lives. Mark's contributions to the green industry and to our lives has been tremendous and will never be forgotten. Mark's emphasis on leadership and education has been a driving force behind our annual tradeshow and the development and growth of many of our peers. Mark cherished the philanthropic opportunities' he was a part of through Reno Green. His competitive nature made our golf tournaments so much fun. Marks wit, one-liners, helpful nature and warmth held the NLA together. We love you Mark. We'll miss you forever. Give Pam a hug for us.
